Carlos Income Tax Services was founded in the early 1980's by Carlos A. Cardoza, also known as "Carlitos". Carlos started his small business of tax preparation services simply by going around neighborhoods, knocking on door to door and introducing himself to potential customers. Along his side was his wife Isabel B. Cardoza, also known as "Chabelita", who supported him and assisted in every way possible. 

Slowly building his cliental, Carlitos began preparing income taxes from a small bedroom in his home which later turned into his home office. As years went by he was able to acquire a location that remains the same at 16056 Valley Blvd., Suite C in Fontana, CA.

Carlitos was well-known by the community and respected by many. His cliental grew every year reaching over 600 clients in 2018, who he assisted all on his own. His daughter Patricia I. Cardoza, also known as "Patty" studied to become a tax preparer that year so she could help her father as it became clear he had a lot on his plate.

Unfortunately, he became sick in the beginning of 2019 and was later diagnosed with stage four cancer of unknown primary origin. Patty shadowed him for a couple of months and was able to learn his trade until he could no longer work and lost complete interest in his business. Patty continued to assist his clients as much as she could during tax season, she knew it was what he desired. Carlos A. Cardoza passed away on

April 18, 2019, three days after tax season ended. He is dearly missed.

Following in her father's footsteps, Patty works a full time job and prepares income taxes during tax season. She plans to grow the business and advance in all areas necessary to produce the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
